SF natives tend to avoid Fisherman’s Warf, Ghiradelli Square, Coit Tower and other tourist attractions. Visit one of these destinations at 3 am, and you’ll have the whole place to yourself.

For the full experience, park at the bottom of the hill and hike to the top. You'll pass through one of the most interesting neighborhoods in the city, and you'll be rewarded at the top with a view!

Watch the ships come and go from the top of Telegraph hill. Bring a lunch if you're walking.

Worth the march up the hill. Best view of the city. Rude Chinese vendors though. You'd think for $7 a ticket they'd be a bit more polite.

Don't Forget to take the steps

Don't climb up Coit Tower as a shortcut to the other side. It's hard work!

Coit Tower is a monument to the firefighters of San Francisco. It was commissioned by Lillie Hitchcock Coit, a wealthy socialite who loved to chase fires. It took 5 years to construct.

The walk to the tower is a killer but worth every step when you catch the views from up top...

Walk up the steps from Levi Plaza for some exercise and a gorgeous hike along some private gardens.
